Snowboarding question…?
Ok so I am 16 and am now an intermediate snowboarder I guess… I shred down the hill, do jumps and flatland freestyle tricks and stuff like that, but I am having a little trouble. I am confused on how to jump, ollie, bunny hop, whatever you want to call it. I was just wondering if to do it, do you jump up with both feet at once? Or do you lift your front foot up and then your back? I think I am doing it wrong because every time I go off a jump, either my front goes too far up, or I land sideways. Please help me out. All help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
You jump with both feet at once… the same way you jump without one.

Try not to jump as much…just let your momentum carry you over the jump to the landing. You will have more control this way, but will need more speed to get air.

For me i get pretty much all of my pop from my back foot. So technically no you do not jump with both feet almost all coming from your back leg popping up.
Here are some instructions that may help you solve you problem:
1. Crouch your body down over your board, ready to jump.
2. Perform the following three steps in one smooth, quick sequence.
3. Pull your front foot up hard and load your weight onto your board’s tail to use it as a spring.
4. Pop off your back foot, lifting your back leg.
5. Draw your knees up as high to your chest as you can.
6. Level off the board once you’re in the air.
7. Straighten your legs as you near the landing.
8. Land both feet together and bend your knees to absorb the impact.
It may even help practicing on flat land or even in your backyard or somewhere til you master it.
good luck!
