What could this be? A cyst? Please help!?
Alright so, I’ve had this little sack-like thing underneath the skin of my inner thigh/bikini line since this summer and I don’t know what it is.
Some times it shrinks until you can barely see it, and sometimes it grows so much that it feels like theres a marble under my skin.
Its usually a dark maroonish red color and it looks like a scar on the skin, with a sack of something underneath.
I dont know why, but sometimes a clearish/red fluid comes out of it but it never deflates.
It doesn’t hurt & I can not feel it.
I am a 16 year old girl and I am not & have never been sexually active.
Anybody help me? :/
Welp, I clicked this hoping to see a gross picture but there isn’t one. You don’t mention any terribly useful information. You only mention that it’s filled with fluid, which is pretty much useless, except it rules out the possibility that you have a spider nest under your skin.
Here’s a list of what it could be:
* Skin cysts
* Cherry angioma
* Dermatofibromas
* Epidermoid cysts
* Folliculitis
* Keratoacanthoma
* Keratosis pilaris
* Lipomas
* Neurofibromas
Or any number of a thousand other skin conditions. If it’s not painful, I wouldn’t worry. It’s probably just a pocket of oil under the skin. It’s actually really common and not at all dangerous. If it annoys you it can be quickly drained by a doctor. I don’t recommend doing it yourself, because that is icky and you take a chance of making it worse with an infection.

Also could be a problem called hidradenitis suppuritiva.
Usually that would be painful and can be many spots like what you describe.
If it’s not progressing and it’s not painful, you can afford to watch for now. If it gets worse or painful, see the doc.
